The Gemini Poll Dorset stud was established in 2014 with the purchase of ewes from the Derrynock and Kennedy Creek Poll Dorset studs, both being highly credentialed and respected within the prime lamb industry.

The decision to start the Gemini Poll Dorset stud was made to complement our White Suffolk stud, and to fill a supply gap in our area by providing Poll Dorset rams with a commercial focus; fast growing, high yielding and early maturing, coupled with high ranking across flock performance figures, all backed up by the latest DNA technologies.

Gemini is fully dedicated to producing the most functional and profitable Poll Dorset rams for commercial producers in today’s lamb industry.
